Laramie's Space to Gather, Connect, and Grow
The Laramie Plains Civic Center, Wyoming’s first brick schoolhouse and one of Laramie’s oldest structures, is an anchor institution with a long history of enriching the lives of Albany County. The property, built in 1878, has served as a destination for the arts, education, recreation, and community resources for nearly 150 years. Today, the non-profit organization serves as a community fostering connections, nurturing creativity, and ensuring an enriched future with a vision to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive space for people to gather, connect, and grow.
As home to the Gryphon Theatre, Phoenix Ballroom, Siren Studios, and two community gyms, LPCC’s team works diligently to cultivate and maintain safe and accessible spaces for Laramie to gather, connect, and grow together. It is with your support that we are able to continue this work.
Your tax-deductible donation to the Laramie Plains Civic Center supports the continuation of LPCC’s work to restore the historic building, support our 60+ artist, non-profit, and small business tenants, and offer accessible community programming for Laramie.
