Thanks to the generous support of the City of Laramie and Albany County, we’re taking bold steps to enhance your experience at the historic Gryphon Theatre—starting with the addition of a permanent bar, expanded menu, and refreshment station inside the venue!

This new bar will serve more than just drinks—it will generate sustainable income to support ongoing theatre upgrades, including long-needed projects like bathroom rehabilitation and improved lobby amenities. With recent changes in state law, we’re now eligible to hold an Entertainment Venue Liquor License, opening the door to better service, better shows, and a better future for the arts in Albany County.

With county and city support, we’re already partway to our funding goal, which allows for the bar construction, equipment purchases, staff training, and the license fees.
